About Us
Weeds on Fire does several athletic fields and complexes. I would like to say it is our specialty. Weeds on Fire also does several cities, like parks and ball fields. The bulk of our business is lawns. We do small, large, in town, out on the farm, out in the country lawns, we do them all!
No need to worry about where you are located in Iowa, we will come to you and get the job done.
Weeds on Fire work is done with experienced people like Elton and myself. We also use extra help when the work load demands, but we can assure you that all Weeds on Fire work is professional and quality work. We do your lawn like it is our own!
SUPERIOR EQUIPMENT: HOODED UNITS
Weeds on Fire uses tractor sprayers to spray lawns. We have two hooded units that eliminate drift (spreading of chemicals due to wind) and three trim units to get in smaller areas. We utilize a larger pull unit for the big jobs, and our push unit or pump pots for the very small jobs. I go through each unit and calibrate for accuracy. The spray unites have meters on them to keep track of product also. Our sprayers are also set up for a higher range of water use to apply lawn chemicals. This will get a better coverage of products with less drift and just make everything work much better.
PULL TYPE DRY FERTILIZER SPREADERS
Weeds on fire uses pull type dry fertilizer spreaders to apply our dry fertilizer. We use a high quality slow release product. We use only the best product for a noticeable result. All of our products are purchased from a national, experienced, lawn care distributer. They also provide us with product training and advice with people,in the know! So if Elton or I can't answer a question we have a place to go.
